A dedicated systems administrator is essential for handling data migration and maintenance tasks in the project. Different from other SuccessFactors solutions, Employee Central implementation process involves setting up complicated data structures and migrating legacy HR data. There are multiple stages where a systems administrator will play a key role: data migration, data collection, setting up permissions, data testing and data maintenance, to name a few.

  5. Must possess high communications and interpersonal skills – The candidate needs to have the ability to interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people. In addition, the systems administrator must regularly providing advice and recommending actions involving rather complex issues. Furthermore, he/she will need to resolve problems within established practices.

 

Implementing any cloud-based solution can be challenging but with the right systems administrator as part of your team half of your problems are resolved. So do take the time to source the right individual at the beginning of the process.
